So Sweet of You

I've been having some internet issues, so my posts are so off lately :). Today's card is for The Craft's Meow's sketch challenge. I used Season's Greetings for the frame (so it's good for non-holiday cards as well), which was cut with Spellbinders Labels dies, and Simply Delightful sets. the papers are Melissa Frances and the bling is Want2Scrap. I can't remember where I got the vintage image.

Some CAS Christmas cards

I have some clean and simple cards to share with you today using some Layers of Colors clear art stamps, Christmas Verses and Acanthus Leaves. I mass produced these quickly and cheaply.

I first stamped images from the Acanthus Leaves set in light brown ink, then stamped the quote in a darker color. I used scraps of lace and ribbon to finish the cards.
CAS Christmas Cards2
These are even simpler with no lace. I really like the one with the button. It's perfect for masculine recipients.

Before I go, I want to let you know that Layers of Color is having a Buy 2, Get 1 set free sale going on now. So, now is the time to get those sets you've been wanting to get. Go to the LOC blog for more info.

Victorian Christmas

I hope you all had a great thanksgiving weekend. Even though we didn't get time off here in Croatia, I enjoyed my self-imposed break from blogging and it was nice! We had our own "lite" version of Thanksgiving with our little family with fried chicken, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce. We even did our own version of Black Friday shopping, but no such good deals here. I did finish shopping for my girls, so that's good!

Speaking of Black Friday deals, one of my favorite online shops, Two Peas In a Bucket, is having 20% off all their products (not non-digital, non-phaseout products). Specially note-worthy are their Copic marker sales, some are marked down 50% off!

Today's card is for Card Patterns sketch this week. The sponsor is The Craft's Meow.  I used my Vintage Snowflakes set, along with Melissa Frances papers and a vintage image from The Graphics Fairy. Some Want2Scrap bling, lace and twill tape accent the card.

Speaking of challenges, The Craft's Meow is also sponsoring the Lily Pad Sketch Challenge until Dec 1st!.

Classic Urns Thank You

As you all in the US are preparing for tomorrow's festivities, we are trying to stay warm here in Croatia. It's been consistently in the low 30's the last few days. We feel homesick during the holidays for our parents and extended families, but thankful we are together with our little family here. My heart goes out to the men and women in the Armed Forces who are away from all their loved ones during the holidays.

In the spirit of thanksgiving, my card today is for you, my readers, for your daily visits and encouragement. Your sweet comments keep me going with this little blog of mine. Thank you for the bottom of my heart.

I used Layers of Color's Her Majesty's Urns stamps (which are colored with Copics), Crate Paper patterned paper and SRM Stickers sentiment.

I wish you all a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!

I added a die cut decorative strip from the Spellbinders Ironworks Motifs dies, which I also designed. It just reflects my style :). A little flower in the center finishes the card.

Gorgeous Lace

Just a quick post today for the TAC (Totally Awesome Chicks) Challenge, which is organized by a group of former Angel Company demos (led by Christine) who still show their love for TAC products. They have a hop going on now featuring my former TAC stamps. I am so honored that they would showcase my designs for this hop. Thank you, ladies. Even though my TAC career was short-lived, I've been blessed getting to know you.

If you own any of my TAC stamps. feel free to join us. I used my old Scalloped Circles stamps (die cut with Spellbinders scalloped circle dies) for this card, which I made this summer for a publication. When TAC closed, I couldn't get it published anymore :). The sentiment is from Beautiful Lace, which is now available again through Layers of Color, along with a few other former TAC stamps. It's a very simple design that is easy to mass produce.

Sent with Love Dahlia and Winner!

Thank you all so much for your kind words about my new Layers of Color Stamp Line. It delights me that so many of you are excited about the re-release of my former TAC stamps.

Before I announce the winner, I have another card for you with the new LOC stamps. This one uses the larger dahlia in the Dotted Dahlias set and sentiment from Sent with Love. Like my card earlier this week, I colored with Copics and layered the dahlia to produce this.

The papers are again Melissa Frances. Aren't those papers just lovely? This was my very first purchase of their products and I'm in love! I got mine from Emma's Paperie (link below) and they have a huge selection of Melissa Frances products.
