CASE Study 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop

Hello, friends! Long time, no blogging...My summer has been filled with so many worthwhile activities that I've had to slow down on my design work. It's all good, but I do miss sharing what I've been up to and the projects I've made here on my blog. So, when Chupa asked me to join the CASE Study's 2nd Anniv hop, I had to participate. I'm so honored to be a part of this hop that includes so many card makers I highly admire.

The theme for this week's hop is Signature Style, meaning the style that is typically mine. I have always described it as "simple shabby." I love lace, doilies, ribbons and buttons on my card but do not like the typically shabby style of collages and many layers, thus the simple definition.

For my card today, I used my brand new Spellbinders' Licensed Designs dies Homespun dies as the main focus. I die cut the pie using 2 patterned papers. The little flower and leaves are die cut felt.

The sentiments is from my The Craft's Meow's Life is a Carnival set. The papers are My Mind's Eye. I embellished my card with some Want2Scrap bling, seam binding ribbon, doily and button.
