I had so much fun making this card. It's reminiscent of one of my favorite cards from 2009. The stamps are Hero Arts' Wish You Were Here. The sentiment is SRM Stickers We've Got Your Stickers Happy. The papers are just scraps I found on my desk. The cream "base board" is embossed but it's hard to see on the photo. I added some bling on the chandelier and on the bottom.

Spring Hugs
Today's card uses my latest GinaK Lovely Labels 3. The label was, of course, die cut with Spellbinders Labels 18. The papers are American Crafts Enchanted. The pink ribbon and buttons are PTI and twine by The Twinery.
Don't forget the Lily Pad Cards Hop is still happening. I don't know about you, but I'm excited about this new challenge blog because it involves many of my stamping idols.

Welcome, Lily Pad Cards! Blog Hop
Welcome to stop #5 in the Lily Pad Cards blog hop! I am so excited to be a part of this event that finally reveals what Lily Pad Cards is all about and features so many of my paper crafting idols from all over the world. This blog hop starts today and will feature seven blogs per day when it culminates on Friday, April 1, with the grand opening of Lily Pad Cards.
Lily Pad Cards is a new challenge blog that will feature interviews, articles, videos, challenges, great prizes, and more!
Although Lily Pad Cards doesn’t officially bloom until April 1, 2011, you’ll be able to see a new sneak peek every day until then. And you’ll definitely want to drop by because there are three prize packages with a total retail value of over $800 - including a $100 gift certificate to a very popular online store! Go here for specific prize details and contest rules.
The hop’s theme is Welcome because not only are we welcoming Lily Pad Cards to the neighborhood, but we’re also welcoming all of you to come in and join in all the fun.
I have two cards to show you. The first welcomes spring. The girl is Little Frieda stamp by The Craft's Meow. The papers are Echo Park Springtime and the sentiment is SRM Stickers Sentiments' Spring.
My second card uses GinaK's Lovely Labels 3 (label and sentiment) stamps and Layers of Color's Embroidered Butterfly, which was colored with Copics. The papers are Crate Paper's Portrait Collection.
Thanks for stopping by! The next stop on the hop is my dear friend, Kathy Racoosin's blog, The Daily Marker. If you hit a bad link, you can always come back here and click on the next link in the hop. Please report any bad links to webmaster@inlinkz.com.

Daisy for A Dear Friend
As many of you probably already know, my friend Lisa opened her very own web store, The Craft's Meow, where you can buy some beautiful paper crafting kits with the newest paper lines from some of our favorite Paper Companies like Crate Paper and Graphic 45. She is also selling her own line of stamps.
I made this card just because and it uses one of The Craft's Meow's exclusive stamps called Little Frieda's Daisy. I had to take out my Copics again and adorable Frieda was so much fun to color. I die cut her using Spellbinders Labels 10. The papers are Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe, which you can also buy from TCM as part of the kits. The sentiment is by Flourishes.

A box of cards
Happy Thursday, everyone! Here's a box of gift cards that I created using the Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Labels Four. The papers are Cosmo Cricket Social Club and the birds and sentiments are from SRM Stickers (We've Got Your Stickers Birdie).
Because the stickers come with 4 birds and sentiments, I was able to make identical cards using the same sheet. The pattern on the papers remind me of a branch, so I perched the bird on it.
I'll have some news to share with you all, but it will have to wait till later :-). Have a great day!Wednesday, March 23, 2011
Gina K Designs' March Release Hop, Day 4
I hope you've been enjoying the new format of the hop after the stamps have been released. This way, there's no waiting involved :-).
Today's cards feature the new Stamp TV kit, Springtime Silhouettes. They are just my style - very vintage. I used my Lovely Labels 3 for the frame and sentiment. The papers are from the brand new Emma's Shoppe by Crate Paper. I love this new paper line. I covered the bird with glitter.

Gina K Designs' March Release Hop, Day 3
Today is the day I get to show you cards I've made using my latest Lovely Labels 3 set. As you probably already know, I love my Spellbinders Nestabilities and have an affection for anything vintage. Add to that the need I had for masculine labels...so I just had to design this set! :-). I also had the military and expats (which I am) in mind when I added the sentiments.
For my first card, I used the labels to make this vintage masculine card. Who said we can't use lace on a masculine card? :-). I die cut one of Spellbinders' Elegant Posts for the post.
This next one is a quick card to make and used up some ribbon scraps. I die cut the label image with the Oval Nesties, so you don't have to use the specific labels the stamps were designed for.For my first card, I used the labels to make this vintage masculine card. This card uses Rupa's Cute as a Bug set. I created a scene using Echo Park's Springtime papers. I just love the sentiment, which was die cut and sponged using SB Grommet Tags dies, that came with the image.
Finally, I have Tami Mayberry's Perfect Pennants on this card. I die cut the banners borders and tassels from the SB Basic Banners dies. The papers are also from EP Springtime.
Check out what the rest of the GKD team has created using these new stamps:

Gina K Designs' March Release Hop, Day 2
I'm glad you could join us today as the GinaK Designs team features the brand spankin' new stamps that are available for purchase now. Let's go straight to the projects then. :-)
My first card uses Theresa Momber's latest set, Warm with Love. I had so much fun coloring this iris with Copic markers. The papers are from the pack that comes with the new STV Kit. I also stamped the lace from Vintage Backgrounds on the bottom for added interest. After I colored the image, I die cut it using Spellbinders' Labels 10 and sponged the background using Distress Inks.

Sent With Love Butterfly
Today's card is for Card Patterns' sketch 107. I used some lovelies from Layers of Color art stamps, Embroidered Butterfly and Sent with Love. The papers are Graphic 45's Once Upon a Springtime.
We are celebrating one of our DT's birthday today. Warm birthday greetings to Vanessa, who is one of the most talented people I know on this side of the Atlantic. I've enjoyed getting to know her ever since I found her blog over a year ago. And she was even kind enough to guest design for me. I hope you have a fabulous day, Vanessa!

Vintage Rose and a little sneak peek
Hello, friends. My hubby's finally here and all is well in the home! And he brought us lots of goodies like Jell-O and condensed milk (for my cheesecake and banana pudding recipes...yumm!). No chocolate chips this time. I'm well stashed on those for a couple of months. He also brought me lots of paper crafting goodies from my favorite CHA paper lines like Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe and Echo Park's Springtime. I can't wait to get creative!
My card today uses Layers of Color's gorgeous Cottage Rose cling art stamp. It's colored with Copics. The sentiment is from Fanciful Tags stamp set by Gina K, die cut with Spellbinders Fancy Tags dies. I'm entering this to The Shabby Tea Room's 1st birthday bash celebration.

And want to see a sneak peek of my latest Gina K Designs' stamps (hint: they coordinate with some of the new Spellbinders dies)? The party is tonight on StampTV, 7-9pm CST. The GinaK team is doing something different for this release and I hope you will join in the fun.

2nd Blog Anniversary Giveaways Week 2
Before I announce the winners from last week's giveaway, here's a card that I made just because. Don't you just love doing that? I used my GinaK Hugs and Prayers (poppies), Christ is Risen (main verse) sets and Layers of Color's The Love Chapter (script text background). I also used the brand new Spellbinders Labels 18. I did the emboss resist technique on this card. It was inspired by two challenges:
- Etsy-Inspired - the photo inspiration is here.
- Stampin' Sisters in Christ - my treasure is God's Word (the background text is I Cor 13 and of course, the main text), but in card-speak that would be the bling which I hoard like crazy. LOL!
VALERIE
The winner of the subscribers/followers only giveaway is:
#39 LEANNE
Please email me (via tab above) to claim your prizes. Thank you for joining in the fun! Are you ready for more giveaways?
Here are this week's prizes. For a random commenter from today's post until Monday (March 21, 11:59pm PST), I will give this away: Gina K's Lawn and Garden, Seeds of Kindness, which go well with the SEI paper pack (please note this not brand new, but only a few sheets are missing). Remember you get to comment twice a day if you share this post on Facebook or your blog.
For my faithful subscribers and followers (via Google readers, Facebook, blogger, etc.), this is what's up for grabs:
- GinaK's Fun Year Round stamp set
- Some of my favorite SRM Stickers
- 3 colors of twine from The Twinery (15 yards each)
- Maya Road felt cupcakes

Another CAS card
I have been enjoying making CAS (clean and simple) cards lately. Here's another one for this week's Stamp TV's Sketch Spotlight Challenge. I used the sentiments from my Christ is Risen set.
I will be drawing the winners from last week's giveaway by midnight PST and post the results tomorrow, along with the new set of giveaways to celebrate my 2nd blog anniversary. There's still time to enter. More info HERE.

Thank You Blog Hop
Welcome to the Gina K Designs team's special Spellbinders Thank You Blog Hop! I hope you're hopping along with us and arrived here from my talented friend Michelle Woerner's blog. To see the blog hop order, visit the StampTV site.
It is no secret how much I love my Spellbinder dies *wink* and I'm so excited to be a part of this hop as we showcase different projects featuring our beloved dies using the new Grand Calibur machine. When I was at CHA in January, I was able to demo the Grand Calibur to retailers and it was such a great experience. The machine works effortlessly. It is much easier to crank than my other die cutting machine, which I often have to hold still with my left hand as I crank with the right. Grand Calibur's suction works so well that you don't need to do this. It stays put as it cuts. I also love that the cutting area is HUGE! You can cut up to letter size, meaning you can die cut several shapes at a time.
Here is my first card for today's hop. I used the following dies for this one:
And notice that border of bling? That's my favorite find at CHA called the Nestabling, manufactured by Want2Scrap. Bling and Spellbinder Nestabilities together...what more could a crafty girl ask for?
My second card features the following dies:
