I layered a stamped image from the Social Butterfly set on top of the collage. It's embellished with a strip of Want2Scrap rhinestones. I also added a strip of Want2Scrap Beautiful Blooms border along the bottom. Some lace and seam binding finish the card.

More Watercolored Penny Black
I have another card with a watercolored image for you. This time, I used Penny Black's Kisses in the Sun for the main image and Love Chapter for the sentiment. I didn't do intense colors this time, but more like a color wash for a more pastel look. I matched the butterfly color with the paper scrap on the bottom.

Thinking of You
I have a simple card for you today using Penny Black's In A Row die and my Decadence stamp background. I stamped the card base in coordinating color. Some flags cut from scraps adorn the top corner and finished off with a flower with a Want2Scrap pearl in the center.
Here's a close up of the lovely birds. The sentiment is from SRM Stickers. Papers by Pink Paislee and a string of pearls from Want2Scrap.
This is 2 of 3 cards using the same PB die. You can see the first one I shared HERE. Have a great day!

Penny Black Watercolored Collage
I have a card with a water colored image for you today using my new Penny Black Botanical Notes stamp set. I used my daughter's cheapo watercolor for this one. I actually bought some more professional grade watercolor (still cheap, though) but I'm still a novice at this that I don't want to waste it yet. :). I highly recommend that you get a good watercolor paper, though. I used to not care, but it does make a big difference in the resulting quality of your work (even with cheap watercolors). The papers are a little expensive ($7 for 12 sheets of 9"x12"), but they are often on sale through Amazon or Joann. I got mine at 50% off with free shipping, so I stocked up.
I first stamped the image using Versafine black ink. Then I went crazy with the colors. I love that water coloring makes it so easy to create contrast and is so forgiving. You don't need to stay inside the lines. :)

Here's a close up. The sentiment is from Penny Black's Kind Words stamp set. I highlighted it and the moth body with some Want2Scrap LeCreme pearls. Both the sentiment and the front panel are mounted using SAby3L foam squares to create dimension.
This is it for me today. I have a busy weekend ahead with meetings with the ladies in our church. I'm doing a lesson on Biblical Worldviews and Discernment. I'm enjoying the study and it's always a problem for me to trim the amount of information I want to share. :) Have a good weekend!

You Are My Bliss
I have a masculine card for you today. I made it for my husband for Valentine's day, but it's appropriate for anniversaries or just because kind of occasion. This was posted earlier on the Want2Scrap blog.
I used the negative cut of the Want2Scrap® Feathers Chipboards as the main focus of my card. I carefully cut the rectangle with the negative cut with a very sharp craft knife. The papers and stickers are Authentique.
I just love that sentiment and hubby loved the card! That's all really that matters, right?

Want2Scrap pearls are scattered about in strategic places to create balance. The Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Runner is perfect to adhere the chipboard to make sure it stays put because it's much heavier than ordinary cardstock or patterned papers. There's a little of text stamping in matching ink inside the negative cut.

Fairy Birthday Card and Winner
I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was wonderful. It was sunny and warmer than usual. Snow has melted and I didn't need to wear my marshmallow jacket outside. :) It's a little colder today, but it's not supposed to last. I believe this is the shortest winter we've ever had here.
My card today is one I made for my youngest who loves pink, purple and fairies. It's hard to see, but the tag says, "Celebrate" and it's from my now retired TCM set. It was die cut using Spellbinders' die. The papers and image panel are Graphic 45. The flower is by Prima. The panel was framed with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Photo Corners. And the pearls are Want2Scrap.

I love you by E.B.Browning
Here is another Valentine card in a vintage shabby chic style that I made for one of my daughters. The lovely sentiment is by QuietFire Designs. Don't you just love it? The elegant calligraphy complements this lovely quote from one of our most beloved poets, Elizabeth Barret Browning. I remember memorizing her most famous work, How Do I Love Thee?, in elementary school because I was enamored by her poetry.
I watercolored the background for the quote to match the Pink Paislee papers. The pearls are Want2Scrap and the panel was framed with Spellbinders' Exquisite Labels 11 die.
So, what are your plans for Valentine's Day? And don't forget to enter my giveaway below. More info HERE.

Pink Valentine Card
I made a few Valentine cards for my sweet girls. Here is one of them that I shared on the Want2Scrap blog earlier this week. Of course, it has to be pink. :)
The papers are Pink Paislee. The bling and chipboard are by Want2Scrap. The sentiment and heart sticker are from SRM Stickers. And the circles were die cut using Spellbinders Classic Circle dies. I also used my super-duper SA by 3L EZ Runner and foam squares.

I have some newly released products through Penny Black and Spellbinders. I will share those next week. Have a great weekend! I think I will. We are experiencing spring-like weather right now and hopefully, it will last a while. :)

Pink and Black Thank You
Today's card uses a color combo that I haven't used in a while: pink, black (and shades of it that includes grey). This is one of three cards I worked on with the same color scheme.
The focal point is the SRM Sticker that fits perfectly inside one of SRM's newest products, paper lace doilies! I have their new release and am so impressed how much their product offering has grown. They have new vinyl sheets that I will be playing with later today. :) The birds are one of my favorite Penny Black dies ever, In a Row.

I just love how the birds perch on the wire. The paper is Pink Paislee. The card is finished with Twinery twine and a small Want2Scrap pearl.

You are My Sunshine
Greetings from ice-cold Croatia. It's been an ordeal here with so much ice. We've had snow, followed by rain, then more snow and rain. Our yard has layers of snow and ice on it. Our car looked like a cherry dipped in chocolate, except the chocolate is solid ice. It's actually very pretty, that is, if you don't go anywhere.
I'm sorry not to have been able to update my blog more often. It's not because of lack of interest, but more because other things have been taking up more of my precious and few free time. I am currently learning to navigate my way in the world of high school home schooling. I can't believe how many options there are out there. After I decide which to do, I have fill out scholarship applications, help my daughter prepare for the placement tests, figuring out the 4 year plan, so we don't miss any opportunities that will make college easier. Kudos to you if you home school multiple children. I'm only doing one and it seems it's already a lot of work. But I am looking forward to it!
Anyway, here's my card for today. It's one that I made a while ago, but it's something I wanted to see today, when it's cold and cloudy outside. The papers, washi tape (red lace) and stickers are all Webster's Pages.

The card base is part of a box that I found at 50% off at Hobby Lobby last summer. I added some Want2Scrap bling on the side, some lace, seam binding a small rose. I adhered the bike using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squares.
