Peek through my window

As soon as I saw Card Patterns' sketch this week, I knew exactly what I wanted to make. Here's their fun sketch:

Those little squares together really remind me of a window. I flipped the sketch and made this card:

Can you believe I got this card base from Ikea? They sold them awhile ago for really cheap - like 20 cards and envelopes for 2 Euros. They're kraft with a patterned front.

Supplies:

Stamps: Garden Delights (Inkakinkadoo), Trendy Trees (SU)
Ink: Summer sun, Old Olive, Craft White
Paper: Old Olive and Really Red by SU, Card base by Ikea
Other: Lace and ribbon

  1. Oh what a very clever idea Nina, I totally love your take on this weeks sketch. Your stamped flowers are beutiful and your window frames are so neat, must have been a mission to line them up so well!

  13. Congrats on winning Nina, your card is just gorgeous, I love your interpretation of the sketch. Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. And to answer your question, I was born in Croatia (near Zagreb) and immigrated to Canada when I was 9. My mom still has a house there and goes back each summer, but it's been a long time since I've visited. I was excited to see that you are in Croatia. How are you liking it? Hugs, Ivanka
