Three Challenges in One Card

First of all, I just want to say thank you to all who come visit my blog and leave sweet comments. I'm shocked that only after less than two months, I've received over 5,300 visitors here. I have made so many good cyber-friends in such a short time. I didn't realize that blogging could bless me so.

For this card, I combined three challenges in one. I used Dawn's RSCC #5 for the color combo, Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday challenge (to use beads) and StampTV's Friday Potluck Challenge (to do paper piercing). And speaking of StampTV, have you seen their latest venture? They just released their very first issue of Stamping Lifestyle Magazine and it's absolutely fabulous and FREE. Here's the link where you can download it. GinaK really filled a need to highlight the lifestyle behind the papercrafter. And there's a coupon in there for Gina's online store.

Here's Dawn's color inspiration:

I don't have any dark gray, so I used a patterned paper with light and medium grey colors on it. And Rose Romance/Hibiscus Burst is actually my darkest pink. Maybe later, I'll go through my stash and see if I can make another one later with this combo.

I paper pierced the trail freehand. I photographed my card two different ways. It's been so sunny and beautiful here that I actually had too much natural light from the window where I usually stage my card photo shoot. So, I took another picture in the shade.

Supplies: Stamp (Garden Delights by Inkadinkadoo), Ink (Pretty in Pink and Rose Romance by SU), Papers (DCWV), Others (Hibiscus Burst button and ribbon by PTI, Love Sticker by Robb and Bob Studios, Pearls by Michael's).
