Celebrating Spring with Friends Down Under

As we enjoy the transition to beautiful fall weather here in Europe, my friends Down Under are leaving winter behind and welcoming spring. Today's card is celebrating the season with them. I created these watercolored flowers (from a retired set Flower Garden by The Craft's Meow) by stamping with Distress Inks and wetting the stamped image with water.

I finished the card with a Bible verse from Penny Black's Life's Messages stamp set. The flowers are black pearls are by Want2Scrap. Adhesives by SA by 3L.

  1. Nina thank you for celebrating spring with us :-). This is gorgeous, and I love the contrast of the dimension of the purple flowers and the flat water coloured ones.

  2. Beautiful as always. Love the technique and gorgeous colors you used. This verse is one of my favorites; it was so instrumental in helping me out of depression years ago. Thank you so much for entering your card in the Die Cut Diva's Challenge.
