Give God thanks basket

A quick card that I made today after church. This follows the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge to use the colors of fall. Their verse this week is: Ecclesiastes 3:1, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven." (NIV) I love this verse. Be watching for it to show in one of my stamp designs someday ;-). The whole book of Ecclesiastes is a good life lesson for us all. In summary, the book teaches us that in this life where there are many unanswered questions and it sometimes leaves us unsatisfied, we can always trust the sovereign, good, and righteous God. In light of this, I chose the verse on my card, "It is good to give thanks to the Lord."

This also follows the 2 Sketches for You sketch, and A Passion For Papertrey to use your favorite color. I love using Kraft/Sand cardstock right now, and fall is my favorite season.

Stamps: Vintage Picnic (PTI), verse (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Copics
Papers: Kraft, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Grey PP
Others: sewing machine, ribbon and button

  1. :) SO PRETTY! I'm loving the look of Kraft on cards and i have a ton of it and forget to use it. I tend to pick the bold brights first! LOL. But I'm gonna try this look very soon. I LOVE your green and pumpkin too--and what a fabulous way to showcase your focal image! LOVE THAT! =0)

Thanks again Nina for playing in our challenge today! Beautiful card! =0)
