Let's Go Hopping and Shopping with Gina K!

This month's Illustrator hop is bigger and better than ever before. For today's hop, anybody can participate and has a chance to win TONS of exciting prizes. Gina issued a challenge on her blog, so make sure you go there and find all the nice, little details. And believe me, you will want to try to win the prize package GKD is offering! It's AMAZING!

GKD is also offering a great SALE in celebration of this hop. Now is the time to stock up. More info on Gina's blog.

Here are my cards...The first two will be entered to Moxie Fab's Olympics of Stamping challenge.

The first one uses my Lovely Labels set. I love my Nesties so much that I just had to design this set. These label stamps have found permanent residence on my craft table. I embossed the label with pearl gold powder. The spring colors are found in the patterned papers by Webster's Pages. All the papers were sponged on the edges with ink. There's a hint of All Spruced up in the lace border and button to add drama to the card :-).

I love Melanie's brand new set, Pressed Flowers, which matches her A Year of Flowers. I used both in this card. These images are so perfect for vintage shabby cards, or stamped on their own for a clean and simple look. I just love stamps like that. I don't know if you can see, but the rose is covered in glitter I stamed the outline rose in soft pink on the lined patterned paper. The sentiment is from the new Card Kit, Spring Florals. The papers are Webster's Pages again. The ribbon is from the Organize It STV kit.

My next card uses Rupa's latest, Oh Baby! set. I decided to make it unisex and use the baby blue houndstooth paper from my Swing into Spring digi paper pack. The rocking horse was colored with Copics. The buttons are from the Spring collection.

And an extra card not for the challenge, but just because...:-) This uses Lovely Labels again and it took no more than 7 minutes to make. The ricracs were glued with Scortape. The button is from the Autumn Button Assortment, the twine is May Arts.

For all the details on this exciting blog hop event, please check out GinaK's blog! We'd love to have you join in the hop by adding your project's direct link to Gina's blog in the Mister Linky box.
