I'm home...

Just a quick post to let you know that my family and I made it safely back to Croatia. The trip was uneventful and all our luggage made it home at the same time with us, which is a rarity. Thank you for your prayers.

My girls cried themselves to sleep again last night for missing their grandparents. They are so tender-hearted and I wish I could take away their pain of saying goodbyes. But, it's a good reminder to them that having people to miss and being missed back are a good testimony of God's goodness to us. If we weren't loved and we didn't love others so much, we wouldn't have anybody to miss at all. It hurts because they all mean so much to us and that is a gift from the Lord.

I have lots to do before I can even unpack (our house was worked on while we were gone). So, I'm afraid my crafts will have to wait awhile. :-( My girls start school on Monday, including my youngest who's going to preschool. I think I will need a few days to adjust being alone in the house now. I know I will be the one going through separation anxiety. It's hard to let go of your kids, even if it's just a couple of blocks away for a couple of hours a day.

My card for today is for this week's Card Patterns sketch:

And my card using our sponsor DRS Design images and sentiments.

Well, I'm off to tackle some laundry and tidying up. The sooner I get those done, the sooner I get to play with my paper crafts :-). Have a fabulous day.
