Happy World Cardmaking day!

Hello, crafty friends! I'm delighted to have you come visit on this most special of holidays for paper craft lovers like you and me. I'll be spending the day making my Christmas cards with some lovely ladies.
I'm delighted to be a part of the Operation Write Hop bloghop. OWH is a worthwhile organization that sends care packages filled with hundreds of handmade cards to the military so they can send beautiful cards to their loved ones back home."
The theme of the hop is winter. I have two cards for you today that both use my favorite Christmas dies, Spellbinders' Sweet Folk Art. For my first card, I followed Sketch #110. I interpreted the trio of hearts as banners on my card. The angel body, wings were inked on the edges.
Angel
The banners and letters are by The Craft's Meow, It's a Banner Day stamp set, which coordinates with Spellbinders Banner Basics Two. I adorned the angel and star with Want2Scrap bling.

For my second card, I followed Sketch #127. I die cut the patchwork tree from Spellbinders' Sweet Folk Art 3times. Each layer of the tree is die cut almost across by the die. It took a little snip of the scissors to separate them to create this quilted look. I'll be sharing the other two cards I created later this week.
Christmas-card2
I inked the edges of the Kraft tag, which was die cut with Spellbinders Labels Four, with white pigment. The sentiment is from SRM Stickers SBD Christmas.

I hope you'll have a great day today celebrating World Cardmaking Day!
