CAS Mixed Media Card

I am really enjoying mixed media, but sometimes don't like the "messiness" and bulk. Today's card is what I call CAS Mixed Media. I used 3 different color media, but kept the card simple. I used a lot of Penny Black stamps on this card: Allegro, Social Butterfly, Floral Applique, Kind Words, Love Chapter, and Breezy.

I used Dye ink, Pigment Ink and Watercolors (the blue iris and splatters) on my card. I had a little piece of doily on my desk and added that (why not?) :). I then placed Want2Scrap pearls in strategic places to create balance.

I'm entering this to the following challenges: Cardabilities (sketch), CASology (Garden), Muse, SSS Wed Challenge (CAS), The Pink Elephant (Watercolors). Have a great weekend, friends.

  1. Hi Nina, thanks for your visit and lovely comment. This card is fab too. I keep meaning to have a go at this style of mixed media card....loving the less is more approach but still plenty of layering (if you get my drift!), everything blends and works perfectly together.

Have a super weekend and happy crafting, hugs Erika.
