LOC Tea Party Blog Hop

The Layers of Color design team is having this blog hop in celebration of the release of Spellbinders newest die templates, Decorative Dress Forms, (designed by Laura Campbell and yours truly) and Nested Tea Cups, (designed by Laura Campbell)! Layers of Color will be offering both these new dies February 1, 2012, or you can purchase them now through Crafters Home participating stores.

I added a die cut decorative strip from the Spellbinders Ironworks Motifs dies, which I also designed. It just reflects my style :). A little flower in the center finishes the card.

Warm Get Well Wishes

Hello, friends! I can't believe it's the 1st of September. Please make sure you check out The Craft's Meow's Sept release hop going on now. Since I'm on vacation, I haven't been able to participate during the previews. I have one new set being released today and it's different from anything I've ever designed before. I had so much fun illustrating it. I esp love the sentiments that go with the images.

Today's card uses Layers of Color's Floweret cling art and Teacup Blessings set. This card went through many transformation and so the layout is something new to me. I colored the flowers with Copics. The sentiment was punched out.

Teacup Blessings

I'm so excited to show you sneak peeks of Layers of Color's Summer 2011 release. My card today features Teacup Blessings, which is a collaborative work between me and Laura Campbell, the owner of Layers of Color. She drew the pretty teacup and I designed the sentiments to go with it.

The papers are Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe. I colored the cup with Copics. I stamped the text background from LOC's The Love Chapter on the bottom patterned paper.
