Crafting in Slovenia

What a busy day I had yesterday. I had a blast teaching a group of talented ladies in a city called Maribor in Slovenia. Here are some pictures from that class. These ladies were so enthusiastic and creative. I look forward to the next class.

Card Class Update

Thanks for all your prayers for my card class. We had 13 come, 6 were guests and we all had a great time. Many of the ladies had never done anything like this before, so it was a real treat for them. And I was impressed how creative they all were. Here are some pics from the class. I'm sorry they weren't better, but we got so busy creating, I totally forgot to take pictures.

Everybody is eager to do the next class, hopefully in mid-May, depending on how quickly I can get supplies ready here. I think everybody felt comfortable and, to loosely quote Casablanca, "we hope this is just the beginning of a beautiful friendship." :-)

Card Class

Hi, all, thanks for visiting. I have a quick post today to ask you to pray for a card class I'm teaching through our church this afternoon. It's an outreach and we hope to build relationships with the ladies in our community. In our small town, there's really not much to do, esp for women. We thought a craft class would be a great opportunity to get to know people and have fun at the same time.

We'll be making these:

It's a basic cardmaking class. A big thanks go to my dear friend, Lisa Walsh, for donating the pretty papers we'll be using. She's a Stampin' Up! demo, so if you're on a lookout for one, I highly recommend her. She's the best (and I've had many of them - they just seem to fizzle out and forget their customers) and my most generous friend. Thanks, Lisa, and thanks all for praying!
