TCM Previews: Stitched Sentiments Two

Welcome to day two of The Craft's Meow's November Release. We're showing today the Stitched Sentiments Two, which is part two of a previous (and very popular) set, Stitched Sentiments. I designed both sets to coordinate with the many sewing-themed stamps I illustrated (Sew Happy, Sew Lovely, Stitched Flowers).  Stitched Sentiments Two is this release's FREE set with a $50 purchase!

For my card today, I used Stitched Flowers and colored them with Copics to match the My Mind's Eye papers. I layered two flowers and curled up the petals of the top flower. To highlight the sentiment from Stitched Sentiments Two, I framed it with some Want2Scrap "rock" Nestabling. :) Some salmon seam binding (from Ribbon Carousel) and coordinating button finish the card.

CFC #10 Sentimental

Hello, friends! It's Crafty Friends Challenge again and this time, Linda, our hostess, challenged us to focus our project on words/sentiments.

I made this clean and simple card for you using my Penny Black Madison Paper pad. The seam binding and twine are by Ribbon Carousel.

Penny Black For You Daisies

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had beautiful weather here and are enjoying just being outside.

I have a Penny Black card for you today. I enjoyed coloring these flowers with Copic markers. I have seen others color the outline of the image to create more contrast and I really love the results. I tried to copy it here, but I'm not sure I got it right. I'll have to look for a tutorial somewhere. :)
For-You
The papers are October Afternoon. I die cut the main panel with Spellbinders new Labels 23. Pretty lace (a local find), twine, button and punched butterfly (accented by Want2Scrap pearls) finish the card.

The layout is inspired by Retro Sketches #14, the colors by the Ribbon Carousel Pinterest challenge.

Sweet Kind Mother

I have a shabby Mother's card for you today. It's not just for the upcoming Mother's day either. It's good for birthdays, or just to say hello to your mom! My girls saw this and asked if I made myself a card. :). Silly girls...

I used TCM's Mother and Father stamps. The frame is die cut using Spellbinders Labels 18 and highlighted with Want2Scrap nestabling. The flower on the side is also by Want2Scrap. The leaves and little doily are by Spellbinders.

I also stamped the big flower from Beautiful Spring on the background with Olive ink. The papers are some old October Afternoon and Melissa Frances.I'm entering this to Ribbon Carousel blog's challenge this week. The sketch follows Card Patterns #164.
Mother
I'm swamped with design work due to being sick. There are lots happening next week, including a NinaB Designs hop once again! And the new The Craft's Meow May release will be previewed soon! In the meantime, my girls are getting ready for a Mother's day (or Women's day here) program at school this weekend. I'm not sure what they're doing yet, but I think I'll be in for a wonderful surprise!
