Meet the new Little Frieda

Welcome to The Craft's Meow's Little Frieda new release blog hop. If you came here from my good friend, Grace's blog, then you're on the right track. If not, make sure you check out The Craft's Meow's blog for the order of the hop.

You will also find the full image of the new sets and card kits being released today. I hear that TCM is also giving away some yummy paper crafting goodies (wink). More info in the TCM blog.

My card today features the adorable Little Frieda At The Seashore set. I colored her with Copics and tried to make her hair blonde this time, but I need to work on that more. I'm partial to brunettes since my girls and I are :-). The papers are again October Afternoon's Seaside. The sentiment is SRM Stickers Sentiments Summer. And a little bit of Twinery twine and a sprinkle of buttons finish the card.

Now, hop on over to my friend Alice Wertz' blog. She will wow you with her masterfully colored images on her cards.

Happy hopping!

The Craft's Meow crew is previewing today the second Little Frieda stamps, Little Frieda and Lulu - My Girl, that will be released on May 15th. She is so much fun to color. My girls think Frieda looks like them. What do you think? It must be the cute little eyes. :-)

Little Frieda was colored with Copics. The papers are Pink Paislee's Soiree collection.

Oh, and check it out... TCM is sponsoring Card Patterns Sketch Challenge this week!

Now regarding the winner of my Spellbinders giveaway last week...sorry about the delay, but many people had blogger problems the last two days, including yours truly. As of this writing, blogger hadn't recovered any of the comments left on Thursday's post. Some of the comments from other posts are missing also. In light of this, I decided to extend my giveaway until Sunday night. I'm hoping blogger will fix the problem by then. If not, just comment away the rest of the weekend and I'll pick the winner randomly from last Friday's post till this coming Sunday, May 15. I will announce the winner on Monday!

This blog hop starts today and will feature seven blogs per day when it culminates on Friday, April 1, with the grand opening of Lily Pad Cards.

Lily Pad Cards is a new challenge blog that will feature interviews, articles, videos, challenges, great prizes, and more!

And you’ll definitely want to drop by because there are three prize packages with a total retail value of over $800 - including a $100 gift certificate to a very popular online store! The hop’s theme is Welcome because not only are we welcoming Lily Pad Cards to the neighborhood, but we’re also welcoming all of you to come in and join in all the fun.

I have two cards to show you. The first welcomes spring. The girl is Little Frieda stamp by The Craft's Meow. The papers are Echo Park Springtime and the sentiment is SRM Stickers Sentiments' Spring.

Daisy for A Dear Friend

As many of you probably already know, my friend Lisa opened her very own web store, The Craft's Meow, where you can buy some beautiful paper crafting kits with the newest paper lines from some of our favorite Paper Companies like Crate Paper and Graphic 45. She is also selling her own line of stamps.

I made this card just because and it uses one of The Craft's Meow's exclusive stamps called Little Frieda's Daisy. I had to take out my Copics again and adorable Frieda was so much fun to color. I die cut her using Spellbinders Labels 10. The papers are Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe, which you can also buy from TCM as part of the kits. The sentiment is by Flourishes.
Frieda Daisy
I'm entering this to The Color Room's Palette #51 and The Shabby Tea Room's challenge (I used everything on the bingo card except the brad).
