A release party hour will be happening there at 4-5 PM, PST. People from literally all over the world will be there. Isn't this fun that we can party with people from halfway across the world? These stencils are so versatile. I've shown you how I've used it to dry emboss using my Cuttlebug on this card, as a paper piercing template on this card and a combination of both on this card.

Today, I''m showing you how I used the Vintage Medallion art stencil to create a a unique background with blended Distress Inks. Isn't that stencil stunning? The corner images are from the Touch of Elegance set. The butterfly is from Joyful Noise.

Now my sample for today uses the stencil for dry embossing with the Cuttlebug. I then inked the cardstock, and using the raised part as a guide, I paper pierced for added effect. Isn't that flourish beautiful? The birds are from the Backyard Birds set. I've been wanting a realistic bird stamp set and this one is just perfect.

Layers of Color Sneak Peek #2

Thank you for your kind and encouraging words about my John Wooden post. I hope you were blessed by reading my small attempt to highlight his life and legacy. He truly was a remarkable man.

I have another sneak peek to show you today of Layers of Color's new Art Stencils. I used one of the 7 new stencils to emboss with my Cuttlebug then sponged with Distress Inks. The beautiful urn and flowers are from the Merci Bouquet set. I colored them with Copics. The sentiment is from SRM Stickers Thank you. I used GinaK's Green Apple and Ivory cardstocks.

I used LOC's new Art Stencils to create the paper pierced background. I love these stencils' versatility. The stamps I used are from the Flowering Gems set.
