Feeling Patriotic

Hi, friends! I have a few patriotic projects to share with you today that was posted on the SRM blog a few days ago. Make sure you check out the blog the last few days as SRM has a giveaway going on that includes some Fiskars punches.

First up is a set of tubes that were simply decorated with stickers borders, twine and die cuts. Inside are Hershey's Kisses. I love these tiny tubes and they're so fun to decorate.

Here's a card using some Bo Bunny papers from last year. I love how these papers create movement because of their graphic style (with a vintage touch...my favorite!). I decorated my card with some Want2Scrap bling, more twine and stickers.

Another card using the same papers, twine and stickers. I added the word sticker borders on the edges as a subtle frame.

This is it for me today. I'm off to see a doctor for my annual (more like every 3 years) check up. I am still battling a nasty cold and now, also starving as I am not allowed to eat until the tests are done. So it's probably not a good idea that I am looking through one of my new favorite sites, FOODGAWKER. It's like Pinterest but strictly for food. It has a sister site called CRAFTGAWKER and it's also fabulous. Well, I'd better get away from the computer before I break my fast. Have a great weekend!

Father's Day CAS cards and sketches

I have some mass produced clean and simple cards for you today using The Craft's Meow's Mother and Father stamp set and patriotic Bo Bunny papers. When I have to make several cards, I try to follow one sketch, mix and match the papers from a collection and have coordinating inks, cardstock and embellishments on hand.

I used my pinking shears to add interest to the border strip. I embellished simply with coordinating twine. I spent no more than an hour making all 5 cards.

Here's the sketch I used for my cards. Feel free to use it and leave me a link to your creation.
My next card is something I shared on the Want2Scrap blog yesterday. This is also based on a sketch I made for The Craft's Meow's June Sketch Challenge.

The main panel is a Want2Scrap Manilla tag, which I stamped with Hero Arts woodgrain pattern stamp. The sentiment, frame and pocket watch are from The Craft's Meow's For My Dad set. I also stamped a strip of paper with cancelled postage image from TCM's Telegram set. The papers are Prima.
Time
The bling on my card is subtle, but I thought they were necessary. :) I adhered a row of three Want2Scrap Baby Bling Rhinestones Brown - 100 Count - 2.5 mm. on the bottom right of the tag. Buttons and burlap twine finish the card.
Time-det
Here is the sketch it's based on. Please link your card on the TCM blog for a chance to win some TCM stamps!

Everyday Girl

Today, the SRM Sticker blog is featuring the Everyday Girl stickers. Here's my feeble attempt at scrapbooking. It's a 6x6 layout with my daughter. The papers are by Bo Bunny.
