Card for Papa

Happy Wednesday, friends. We're trying to recover from the sickies this week and I hope the worst is over. My poor girls haven't been able to keep anything down.

My card today is for a very special man, my Father-in-Law, whom my girls call Papa. He's a big GA Bulldog fan, so I had to use the Red and Black color combo. The phone and sentiment are from TCM's For My Dad stamp set. The border is Spellbinders Fleur de lis Accents dies.

The papers are by Prima. I love ribbon and don't always feel they look good on a masculine card, so I came up with this. The Scortape comes in hand making this bow.

I have two hops coming up this weekend. My project on Friday is something that is not a card and I'm staring at it while I type this :). In the meantime, check out the Want2Scrap blog for more info on their hop with GlueArts. Want2Scrap is giving FIVE $20 gift certificates to their store. Enjoy your day!

  1. Love the colours you have used Nina, and the way you have used the ribbon is just right for a masculine card.

  2. Papa says he is very honored with the card for today. We pray that the girls are feeling better today and that they are able to eat the Chicken Noodle Soup. Love to all of you! Love, Nana
