My first uses Baby Shelf set, which coordinates with Beautiful Shelf. It uses one of my Polaroid frames that I shared earlier. I stamped and fussy cut the lamp and put against the "wall" and adorned it with some Want2Scrap heart bling. The bear is actually felt.
I've always wanted to stamp on felt, so now I have to show you something I learned when doing this. I found that the best inks for this is pigment. You can see the comparison on the crispness of the stamped image using dye ink Memento on the left and the Pigment Versafine on the right. Both inks are by Tsukineko/Imagine Crafts.
I love the added "fuzziness" of the felt for the teddy bear. The banner is placed there to provide balance. The pearls are by Want2Scrap and paper by Authentique.
My second card uses my Soaring High stamp set. This is a little bit more formal and elegant. I had to pair the image and sentiment with Spellbinders' new Brackett Borders One dies.
Here's a close up...don't you just love how perfectly the bird, sentiment and die cut border fit together? :)
The Craft's Meow is giving away the 5 new sets. Readers will be eligible to win all 5 new sets.
Participants are not required to leave comments on each blog, but they have a better chance to win because TCM will randomly draw a name from one of our blogs for a winner.
