I first stamped the image using Versafine black ink. Then I went crazy with the colors. I love that water coloring makes it so easy to create contrast and is so forgiving. You don't need to stay inside the lines. :)
Here's a close up. The sentiment is from Penny Black's Kind Words stamp set. I highlighted it and the moth body with some Want2Scrap LeCreme pearls. Both the sentiment and the front panel are mounted using SAby3L foam squares to create dimension.
This is it for me today. I have a busy weekend ahead with meetings with the ladies in our church. I'm doing a lesson on Biblical Worldviews and Discernment. I'm enjoying the study and it's always a problem for me to trim the amount of information I want to share. :) Have a good weekend!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Love the watercolored background.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Nina and love the softness watercoloring gives to an image. Hoping my LSS ordered this one as well....they tend to get most of the new PB stamps. Did you design the sentiments as well?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, I totally love your water color technique!
ReplyDeleteThis card truly is gorgeous! Sorry that I didn't know this was a stamp that you had designed! It's been AMAZING for me to use! So thank you, Nina!
