Lots of Love for Lauryn Blog Hop and Blog Candy

I am honored to take part in today's hop to show our love and prayers for a sweet little girl named Lauryn.

Isn't this little girl just precious? Let me introduce you....Lauryn was diagnosed with Leukemia on March 27, 2014. She is currently hospitalized in the DC area undergoing chemotherapy to fight this terrible disease. Lauryn is Linda Payne's granddaughter...many of you in the stamping community probably already know sweet Linda!

As news of Lauryn's illness spread via social media, many of you have asked if there is anything you can do to help, so we have come up with a plan. We decided to have a Card Drive and would like to invite YOU to help by sending "happy mail" to Lauryn and her family.

Please create cards to share your love and encouragement for Lauryn and her family. Lauryn's parents are Josh and Elizabeth and she has two older siblings: Lily and Logan. We thank the Lord for this dear family and need to pray for them as they are seeking to glorify the Lord throughout this trial. If God moves you to give, I'm sure it will be a blessing to the Newsome family to receive your donation to help pay for the medical bills. Here is my card with one of my favorite encouraging Bible verses.

I love it because it speaks of the faithfulness of God, whose love and care for us is never ending steadfast patient and unchanging. My prayers for Lauryn and her family is for physical healing; and also, that they will be drawn closer to this faithful God as they face this trial. He is faithful, He is good and He never disappoints.
