For the background I did a wet on wet technique. The pearls are by Want2Scrap. I'm entering this card to the following challenges: SSS Monday Challenge, Our Creative Corner, JUGS, Shabby Tea Room (In my garden inspiration).
My next card has a freehand watercolored flower. I was playing around to see if I can make a messy flower using the loose watercolor technique. It's not quite what I had in mind, but I like that about this technique. You never know what you're going to end up with. :).
The sentiment is heat embossed black using the WPlus9 Hand Lettered Thanks set.

Gorgeous cards, I especially love your freehand pink flowers!
ReplyDeleteOh Nina that second card with your 'messy' flower is gorgeous - love your vibrant colours and the sheer ribbon, contrasted with the srtiking sentiment. The flowers are beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying seeing your creations again :-)

Wow! These cards are so vibrant and full of life! I love how they made me feel excited about Spring and Summer. The first card reminded me of beautiful fields of wildflowers and the second one made me think of gorgeous floral fabrics that I see on Spring dresses around this time of year. You did a remarkable job on both and I love how they're so different and unique. Great work and I'm so glad you shared these with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
