The Craft's Meow's Previews: Vintage Clocks

Hi, friends! It's that time of the month again when The Craft's Meow team previews the new stamps to be released on the 21st of the month. Today's previews highlight my new Vintage Clocks set. You know how much I love everything vintage and this set is another great addition to my collection and, I hope, in yours as well. This is a HUGE set with 5 clock images, one long border image and 15 sentiments/sayings that go well together. The sentiments can be paired to stamp inside and outside your cards.

It's been gloomy here lately, so I was inspired to make cards with happy colors for this release. I stamped one of the vintage clock images and sentiment in red to match the October afternoon papers.

To frame it, I die cut vellum with Spellbinders Oval Lace die. I used the vellum because I wanted the pattern to show through.

I am delighted that my dear friend Jennie Harper is joining me in showcasing my new  release. Here is her card that uses the vintage alarm clock image from Vintage Clocks. On her card, Jennie white embossed the alarm clock, sentiment and border. The white on dark pink paper makes such a bold and beautiful statement.
Please make sure you check out the TCM blog for more links to inspiring projects and information about the stamp giveaway! And don't forget to join us on the 21st for the Release Blog Hop! In the meantime, feel free to join the NinaB Designs hop going on now. Comment to win till September 21st! Spellbinders dies, The Craft's Meow stamps and retired Layers of Colors stamps are up for grabs. Have a great day!

NinaB Designs September Blog Hop

EDIT: Some of the links may be off in the team members' blogs. Please use the list on my blog for the updated links. Thank you!

Hello, friends! After a much needed summer break, the NinaB Designs team is back to showcase some of my designs for our monthly hop. Make sure you check out the new Summer CHA Releases by Spellbinders, Want2Scrap and Penny Black, and my monthly release by The Craft's Meow.

For this month's hop, I challenged the team to create something with gift-giving in mind. Here are my projects. First is a set of tags that used Spellbinders' Homespun dies, Penny Black Free Flight stamps (background on tag) and The Craft's Meow stamps for the sentiments (Life is a Carnival and Love Dwells Here).

Here is a close up of the pie die cut. I just love how you can mix and match the top and bottom parts with different patterns. The sentiment is from TCM's Life is a Carnival.

Here's a close up of the basket with a small tag die cut using Spellbinders' Home Sweet Home dies and TCM's Love Dwells Here. The tags are Want2Scrap Manilla Tags..

My second project is a card set using S5-088 Sewing Elements dies and TCM Sew Lovely stamps. This is the box I packaged the cards in.

Sunflower Kindness and an Announcement

It's a gloomy day today in our town and I felt like coloring. So I reached out for my Flourishes Sunflowers stamp set. The distressing was inspired by their current Wild and Wonderful Challenge.

The sentiments is from Penny Black's Foliage Fancy set. The papers are My Mind's Eye.

Smiles

I'm sharing today a card I had posted on the Want2Scrap blog a few days ago. I paired my favorite bling with Niki Sivils papers  (Exit Here collection) and Spellbinders dies (my brand new licensed design called Homespun).

I love the bright colors of this collection that make me feel more summery, even though fall is just around the corner. The mason jar is from Spellbinders' Homespun set. I embossed and stenciled the designs on it with some Clearsnap inks. The sentiment is from The Craft's Meow's Stitched Sentiments set. It's framed with the gorgeous Want2Scrap's Nestabling Fancy Tags Two White Pearl.

The card is embellished by a paper doily, seam binding and Want2Scrap's Red Rose Ribbon 1" that you can see up close here.

I hope you have a wonderful day. I have another Niki Sivils card for you next week!

A Pinterest Christmas

I have a Christmas card for you today for Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday Challenge. The the theme is Pinterest Christmas. Here is my inspiration:
Here is my card that was inspired by the photo. I used the beautiful Flourishes' Seasonal Wreaths. The happy papers are October Afternoon's Sidewalk.

I copied the word banner across the wreath using letter sticker and added the flowers.

It seems so early to think of Christmas, but it's good to work ahead :). Have a great day!
