This card is one of the trio of cards I promised to show you from my WCMD post last week. This is actually a part of a series of mass-produced cards I'm making this year. Come back on Monday for the monthly NinaB Designs blog hop and I'll show you how you can achieve beautiful cards in no time. It just takes an idea, some planning and at least a couple of hours chunk at a time.
This card uses the other tree layers from Spellbinders' Sweet Folk Art that I used on the WCMD card. The holes on the tree are part of the die cut and can be used as a guide for stitching (both by hand and machine), or leave as is. I stitched the patterned papers, but you can skip that part.
I inked the edges of the Kraft tag, which was die cut with Spellbinders Labels 8, with white pigment. The sentiment is from SRM Stickers SBD Christmas. The papers are again My Mind's Eye. Ribbon, lace, button and twine finish the card.
I hope to see you back on Monday for the NinaB Designs blog hop. We'll have lots of ideas and giveaways, too! Have a great weekend!
Nina, I really like that you've mixed non-traditional with traditional colors here! What a beautiful card! Wow, can't believe you send out 150 cards! That's 150 people doin' the happy dance at their mailboxes! What a thrill to get one of your cards in the mail :) Have a great day!
