Introducing Gleefully Yours

I'm so excited to share this Gleefully Yours set with you all, which was inspired by my girls' love for music paired with my affinity for anything vintage.

Here is a card made using this set. The colors are inspired by StampTV's Color Spotlight #7. The sentiment is from GinaK's Love Notes set. The background paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Togetherness collection. I also used my Spellbinders Lacey Circles die. The cardstocks are GinaK Turquoise Sea, Sweet Mango and Rocket Red.

I'm Filled with Glee

...as I preview my first 2011 GinaK Designs stamp set, Gleefully Yours, today. This one was several months in the making. It was inspired by my girls' love of singing (you can see my post of them at their school's Supertalent show HERE), but I just had to add elements from one of the most popular TV shows in the US right now (can you guess which one? There's a hint on the first card's sentiment). We don't have it in Croatia (that I know of), but I am aware enough that many of my Facebook and paper crafting friends love it. I hope they will love these stamps, too. :-)

Both my cards use the Pink Paislee Cupid Collection. The first one has the vintage jukebox from Gleefully Yours that was colored with Copics and framed with a GinaK Grass Green die cut (Spellbinders' Labels 17) and a SU's Cameo Coral flourish tag (Spellbinder's Fancy Tags). Some buttons, glitter and ricrac finished the card.

This next card has the antique piano image, which goes well with my "Just a Note" sentiment from Lovely Labels 2 set. This set will also work well with the music background from my Vintage Backgrounds set.

New Year Blog Candy

Before I show you my very first blog candy of the year, here's a card using my well-loved stamps, GinaK Designs' Many Wishes (dandelions), Vintage Backgrounds (text) and Heartily Yours Additions (sentiment). The papers are Webster's Pages. Speaking of Gina K Designs, the previews have begun for our January release. Go to Gina's blog for more info.

Just a little tidbit about my Heartily Yours Additions set: I designed the sentiment on my card below with my girls in mind. I had always wanted to be a mom and God blessed me three times that way. The reason I haven't shared anything creative in awhile on my blog is because I've been enjoying just hanging out with the girls while they're on Christmas break. And we don't start school again until next week, which makes me a happy mama :-).

Wish Came True

Now, on to my first blog candy of the year to celebrate 500+ blog followers, 900+ email subscribers and 228K hits! I will be doing some more of this later on that will include my new stamp designs and dies! Happy new year!

Hello, stamping friends. I hope you had a wonderful holiday celebration. I'm still enjoying the break since my girls are still off this week. Do you find it hard to go back to routine after a long pause? I know I do, so I'm just going to enjoy my time adjusting this week before school starts on Monday.

I do have cards to share because it's GinaK Designs' preview week. But, first I have a card to share for StampTV's sketch challenge today. I used my well-loved sets, Grand Damask and Heartily Your Additions stamp sets. The papers are Pink Paislee's Cupid.

STVSKSP7 You are Wonderful
Finally, I haven't forgotten about my giveaway. I have so many things new this month that I was having a hard time to decide if I should wait till I am able to share about them all with you. Some of my new designs will have to wait until CHA at the end of the month (and I hope you will like them like I do). So, I decided since I can't all share my new designs at once, I'll divide my giveaways over the next few weeks.

My first giveaway will be tomorrow that includes my new GinaK Designs stamps to be released on Thursday, Jan 6th. So make sure you all come back. :-)

Merry Christmas!

I had planned to have a Christmas blog candy, but realized that most people will be too busy to visit blogs, so I decided to postpone it until next year and it will be a bigger prize that includes new stamps and a sampler of my seam bindings. So, stay tuned.

For my Christmas post, I thought share a few cards from each of the teams I have had the privilege to be a part of in 2010.

First is a card using Layers of Colors' A Touch of Elegance clear art stamps.

Elegant Ornaments

This one uses my Gina K Designs stamp sets, Heirloom Ornaments, Fanciful Tags and Vintage Backgrounds.

Finally, I hope you all a very merry Christmas. As a Christian, I have a huge appreciation for this holiday. Beyond presents and merriment, Christmas is a day that celebrates God's love toward mankind. As my pastor, John MacArthur says, "The babe Jesus Christ in a manger is more than just a tender child. He is the express image of God. He took on a body of human flesh so He could bear in that body the sins of the world. He made possible the gift of God--eternal life (Romans 6:23). That is the sum of the Christmas message."

I took the quoted notes above from Grace To You's article that you can find in its entirety -->> HERE. I hope you will take the time to read it and even follow the Scripture reference. It sums up why I, along with the many followers of Christ, celebrate Christmas. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me by clicking on the Contact tab above.

Here's my favorite new Christmas song this year. I love the lyrics!
