I used Dawn's Raspberry Suite colors again. The first one has the elegant style. The stamps are Damask Designs by PTI. The papers I used are More Mustard, Kraft (PTI) and Ivory (GinaK), flower by Prima, ink is Memento Rich Cocoa.
This one has a bit of earthly whimsy. The tree and quote stamps are from Unity and the bird is from Live Simply by Hero Arts. I just love that quote. I followed CPS Sketch this week and turned it sideways. I added a little bit of distressing around the quote (for the A Spoonful of Sugar challenge).
Papers: Chocolate Chip, DCWV spring stack, SEI, PTI Kraft
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Copics
Others: button from PTI
they are both gorgeous, I love these color combinations. and I LOVE the quote!!
ReplyDeleteThis one is more radical but I LOVE it (in light of devotion to God): "From a certain point onward there is no longer any turning back. That is the point that must be reached."Kafka
ReplyDeleteIt would look really powerful on a card with the Cross of Christ on it.

ReplyDeleteBoth cards are great, but that second one is so cute! Great texture and wonderful idea to turn the journaling shape into a tree - I will have to remember that one, it would be great for scrap booking too!
ReplyDeleteThese are both so beautiful Nina, I think I am the only card maker who hasn't participated in Dawn's color challenge. Maybe next time....
