GinaK Hip to be Square Blog Hop

I had so much fun to play with Melanie's set, Hip to Be Square. I know many of you have Christmas cards in mind, but I wanted to show you that this set is not only for the holidays.

For the first card, I made a grid pattern on Word and printed it out. I then stamped a pattern using the circle and small flower stamps from the set. The sentiment is from the StampTV kit, Holiday Cheer. The colors I used are Sweet Corn and Green Apple.

You can download the Gridline Pattern >>>> HERE<<<<.

For the second card, I did a quilted look using the window stamp from the Hip to Be Square. I used coordinating patterned paper by K&Co. The leaves are from Melanie's A Year of Flowers set. And that button is from my stash. It's so big I didn't know how to use it until now. I then stamped across the bottom using the row of flowers from Hip to Be Square. The cardbase is Rose Red and I layered the quilt on Green Apple. A few pearls finished the card.
