We had some friends arrive from the US this weekend and it's so nice to catch up face to face again (and in English, too :-). They also brought me some paper goodies that I couldn't wait to play with.
I made these cards last night using The Craft's Meow's Friend of Mine kit, which is on sale until tomorrow! In fact, everything in The Craft's Meow's store is on sale. More info HERE.

On another note, after much thought and prayer, I have decided to step down from The GinaK Designs team. I've had the best time with the GinaK team and I am very thankful for Gina herself for being my boss, mentor and friend the last 2.5 years, who always dealt with me kindly and generously. I have made many friends from the team and thankfully, I won't have to say goodbye to any of my GKD peeps entirely.
I've decided to slow down on my monthly commitments/design work and thus the change. I will, however, not disappear completely. You can't get rid of me that fast :-). I will continue to blog and create with GKD products, including my stamps, which will still be available at the GKD store.
I think God has much in store by way of my design work and I can't wait to find out how He will show Himself good in this area of my life. Stay tuned! :-). I do believe that God IS good, no matter what happens, even if I lose all design opportunities that He has given me thus far, and for which I cannot thank Him enough. Soli Deo Gloria!

ReplyDeleteNina your faith in a Mighty God really is evident in where you place your priorities right now and to see your trust in Him good or bad is such a blessing to me. Your work is outstanding and whatever you place your hand too, He will surely bless you. I know for myself that being so busy sometimes can really cause us to re-evaluate things and take a step back. God's word tells us that there are seasons for everthing and it looks like your season is changing. I pray nothing but a new season of refreshment, relaxation, and Peace in Him. May He continue to bless you as you bless those around and about you. Hugs

ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous cards! I have a soft spot for butterflies. On your announcement...I know that must have been a difficult decision for you. My Bible study (Beth Moore) this morning was on making hard decisions and knowing God's will even when things are not black and white. I've had to step down before from something that I loved, and so I felt God move me this morning to pray for you. And so I prayed Philippians 1:9-10 for you this morning. God Bless!
ReplyDeletethese are so lovely...and sometimes life gets so hectic that it is important for us to just step back from the hustle and bustle and re-evaluate how we spend our days. I have enjoyed your work and know that there will be many of your creations ahead to admire.
