My cards today were inspired by a classic, My Fair Lady, starring one of my favorite actresses, the glamorous Audrey Hepburn. My girls and I watched it together for the first time just a few weeks ago. This movie has it all: great acting, awesome music and beautiful costumes. I remember one scene in particular when Liza was taken out to the public for the first time after she started training under Prof Higgins. It was the horse race scene and the ladies showed up with beautiful gowns and hats on. Those patterns remind me of the ones on my Vintage Backgrounds set.
I followed the colored scheme from the movie poster above for both cards, using Passionate Pink, Black Onyx and Smokey Slate. The first card uses several images from Vintage Backgrounds. The girl from Asela's Sew Pretty set reminds of the high-class ladies from the movie. She has an air of confidence that's similar.
My second card uses the text stamp as background. The little twigs are from Tropical Flowers an the butterflies are from the Spring Mix Stamp TV Kit.
